School

A school is an institution designed for the teaching of students (or "pupils") under the direction of teachers. Most countries have systems of formal education, which is commonly compulsory.[citation needed] In these systems, students progress through a series of schools. The names for these schools vary by country (discussed in the Regional section below) but generally include primary school for young children and secondary school for teenagers who have completed primary education. An institution where higher education is taught, is commonly called a university college or university.

In addition to these core schools, students in a given country may also attend schools before and after primary and secondary education. Kindergarten or pre-school provide some schooling to very young children (typically ages 3–5). University, vocational school, college or seminary may be available after secondary school. A school may also be dedicated to one particular field, such as a school of economics or a school of dance. Alternative schools may provide nontraditional curriculum and methods.

Admission prep: Folders and results - "Who goes where"

Hello: hello :,

I "fun" to do a general survey of "Who goes where" since 2008 (2008 - 2009 - 2010 - 2011 - 2012 - 2013 -2014)

The goal is to enable future applicants in prep to have one list available when they want to take a look at records of people who were admitted to a particular prépa (nicks are then in blue, just click it to open the web page directly overlooking the folder). And for those who did not leave a link to their applications, students can always send them a PM.

I also specifies that it is quite normal if you see several times the nickname of the same person, because I have listed institutions where people were admitted, but that does not necessarily mean that they have gone there, they have built. Because as I said, this list should be used primarily for high school students, so they can compare folders and try to assess their chances of being admitted to a particular school. But whether we agree: if you feel a folder as good as yours, it does not necessarily mean that you will be taken in the same establishment.

Finally, you'll notice that I added two more selective schools that do not offer CPGEs: Dauphine (Paris) and Sciences Po (Paris), since there is also a selection on file for these courses typically prized by applicants in prep.

For a list, see and / or download on this link (last edict of 18/03/2012).

If I made any mistakes, please report them to me. And if other people want to appear on the list, it is found;-).

: thank you:
